No you still have the virus maryann if this happens every time you go on the internet a way to get back on internet explorer is to go on tools, internet options, connections, LAN settings, Then click advanced there should be a proxy extered in the http box and the port box the virus has done this to stop you getting online, if you copy that http and put it in the exceptions box the put the port seperated by ; like this >>> 127.0.0.1;6522 i dont think you should have anymore trouble with it, you then click ok, a security box saying invalid proxy should come up, click yes then untick use proxy server and it should be done, hope it helped :]
I am running Windows Vista on my computer and recently got rid of a virus called Antivir and now everytime I try to get on the internet it tells me that I don’t have an internet connection. I am on a wireless connection and it tells me I am connected. What can I do to be able to get back online? Did getting rid of the virus do something to my connection?
