I never had ANY compromises or issues while using ShopatHome or Toolbar; I never went thru their site to shop either!
Since getting better security software, it does not like the “agent” you speak of; Adware is a knock off of Ad Aware which ENGINEERS tell me.
Yet McAfee didn’t like ShopatHome, but has linked up with itnow.
But, I have trouble with SpyBot and another program.
The download, maybe a wrong site, would not be approved.
Yet AVG approves it.
Let me know what you think.
Again, I was never breached; but since not having it have missed the kickbacks I got & NOW cannot mail order as I could the past two years.
